Olu __ means ‘very __’. You can use it to modify any quality, e.g. ‘very good’, ‘very thick’, ‘very soft’, etc….


Pronunciation

  • Olu sounds like AW-loo.  In fast speech you can say it also like UH-loo.
  • Some elders pronounce it ólew, with a slightly different quality to the last vowel.
